Coming from a country where the embroidered peasant blouse is part of the traditional outfit, I never looked at it as more than… part of my old, European culture. That is, until recently, when I noticed its comeback with this modern take on it. Suddenly, it has become a super stylish piece, and I’m falling in love with it again and again!
I found this gorgeous, silk top from BCBG, and thought it was time to take it outside in the sunshine 🙂 A beautiful sunny day in Vancouver and a walk by the water was all I needed. I’ve always admired the grace and soft elegance in some women, so I felt inspired to try this (almost) romantic look. The dusty pink colour of this embroidered peasant blouse is very feminine, and the detail and fabric are very sophisticated. I paired it with a sheer, pleated maxi skirt and a pleated waist belt. I put my hair up and added a beautiful flower accessory, making it the perfect touch for the whole outfit.
Vancouver has tons of beautiful places worthy of taking photos, but my favorites have always been places along the ocean. I’m generally drawn to the beach, regardless of where in this world I am. And speaking of which, I’ll have plenty of photos to share with you soon since my next trip to Europe is already planned and will start on June 1st! So excited! 🙂 Romania (my home country) and Greece are to come, but more on that soon! So stay around, and you’ll discover some gorgeous places along with me! 😉
