Underneath It All: Lingerie You’ll Want to Wear Beyond Valentine’s Day ☀️️

I've Got Sunshine ☀️ | Style and Travel Blogger - Lace lingerie for Valentine's Day and white shirt in bed

Single or attached, lingerie is a staple in every girl’s closet, and if you’re like me, you probably have drawers filled with fancy and/or comfortable pieces. I find we rely on our moods for our choice of lingerie every day… some days we feel sexy, so bring on the lacy stuff. On other days we feel casual, so say hello to comfy pieces. You get the point 🙂 Here is some Valentine’s Day-ready lingerie that I’m confident you’ll want to wear beyond February 14! 😉

I love the lingerie I’m wearing to be comfortable, and I’m a fan of soft lace; not only for the comfort provided, but also for the feminine details. In the past year, the bralette has been one of the most coveted pieces everywhere, and I can see why. I absolutely love the trend of lingerie peeking through a shirt or top… After all, those pretty lace pieces are too precious to be hidden – does anyone else agree with me?

I  think that having staple, basic colors for your lingerie (like black and white) is more practical, but I also personally love reds, pinks and blushes for a more sexy/girly approach – depending on the mood! And if I feel particularly fancy at home, I like adding a bit of drama with a sheer, maxi robe on top.

Valentine’s Day is a perfect opportunity to wear the fancy pieces you love, but it shouldn’t stop then! As long as they’re comfortable, you’ll likely wear them beyond this day. So have them peeking underneath your favorite dress or shirt, or if you feel daring, wear them underneath a trench coat for a special date night with your love. The most important thing is to feel comfortable in your skin, and I believe lingerie can definitely help with that! 😉
