When I think about spring, I start thinking about sleeveless tops, maxi dresses and endless beach days. If I’m in Vancouver, there aren’t many days during the winter/spring time that I can enjoy the beach, as the weather is quite cold and rainy. It just happened that recently we got a sunny, but very windy day (though I don’t mind the ocean breeze). So there I was, ready to enjoy the first “beach day” of the year, even if the warmer temperatures are still to come. For that reason, I chose to wear this lovely red off-the-shoulder frill jumpsuit, which was perfect for the nicer weather and covered enough not to be cold.
I can’t have enough of the scenery views I get to see when there’s ocean involved! I often feel like a tourist in my own city, as there are always new places I haven’t seen and things I haven’t done. The beach will always have my heart, regardless of where I am in this world. There’s something so peaceful about it that calms my soul and my mind, especially when there are waves involved (I am sure that all of you can relate to this).
I’m currently planning some trips for this coming summer, and it will definitely include Europe. I’m so excited to go back home, too! The best part is that while there, it’s always so easy to travel everywhere else on the continent. I’m considering Italy, but still debating a few other places. I admit that in the past few months I poured my heart and soul into growing this blog, and postponed some travel plans. I’m ready for adventure, and my heart is definitely craving some wanderlust!
Be sure to check out the outfit details below – you’ll be surprised how affordable this jumpsuit is, for such a beautiful standout piece! I paired it with a wide waist belt for a better hourglass shape. Oh, and it’s super comfy too! I love the feminine frill details and the off-the-shoulder design, and of course, the red shade is always a winner for me! 😉
