A Rainbow of Tulips ☀️️

I've Got Sunshine ☀️ | Style and Travel Blogger - Red dress twirl in the tulips field

I’ve been waiting a long time to visit a tulip festival, and this year I made it a priority! The truth is that in the previous years, I always ended up missing the event; I just happened to think about it too late! 😀 I had to plan a bit around it as the weather in Vancouver is so unpredictable, but I managed to get there on the hottest day we’ve had so far this year. I got lucky because just when I was leaving, they announced that they were going to close the area because of a storm warning. Talk about good timing! 🙂

As you already could have guessed, I chose to wear a boho maxi dress, which also happens to be one of my favorite summer dresses! Its red color among all those gorgeous tulips brought out a touch of romance, which I love. One of my favorite parts about it is the open back detail – yes, I have a thing for open back dresses! 🙂

All those colorful tulips looked surreal! The colors and views are even more beautiful in person, but I tried my best to capture everything the best I could 🙂 It was an amazing experience, one that I’d love to repeat next year too! If only it was closer to where I live… These, by the way, were taken at the Abbotsford Tulip Festival. If you do happen to visit, make sure you wear some comfortable shoes or preferably boots that you don’t mind getting muddy. I had to learn my lesson the hard way… I wore sandals and by the end of the trip, they got so dirty and it took a good scrubbing to clean them. Oh well, now I know for next time 🙂
